===== Connecting the station =====


==== What do I need? ====

  - Suitable place for the station
  - [[en:rmds|RMDS]] station of chosen version. If you are a new user, we recommend to use the newest version that has simpler maintenance. [[http://www.ust.cz/shop/product_info.php?products_id=253| e-shop UST]]
  - RG58 coaxial cable to connect the antenna [[http://www.ust.cz/shop/product_info.php?cPath=30_43&products_id=174 | e-shop UST]]
  - Low noise antenna preamplifier [[http://wiki.mlab.cz/doku.php?id=en:lna|LNA01A]]- [[http://www.ust.cz/|e-shop UST]]
  - [[en:antennas|Receiving antenna]]
  - Internet connectivity (a station generates approximately 2GB of records per day
  - Electric power supply 230V (20W)

==== I have the equipment and place for installation ====

If you have already chosen the place for station installation and have obtained the necessary equipment, continue by choosing one of the following steps: 

=== I want a ready-made station - I do not want to develop anything  ===

You can either choose an installation by [[http://www.ust.cz|UST]] company or you can install the station by yourself, following the instructions provided to the chosen version of the station. 

=== I want to build and install the whole station by myself ===

===== I cannot posses my own station =====

We welcome even users that cannot have their own detection station, but would like to help us to develop the network. We always have lots of new ideas and aims to achieve, but the time is short :)
